Hello my sweet babies! My CHANI app told me this Sagittarius full moon is supposed to be fun! Obviously I love any moment that we all embrace the Sag energy, so join me in my hijinks and hurry up ok! 🐎
We are in fact…together again (J is sitting on the couch with me as I write this, we’re watching Hairspray🕺💈💆🏻♀️). We’re coming up on our 100th pod ep this week (ah!) and for two gals that started this whole thing before ever even meeting each other hanging out this much together is such a funny treat. But more sappy feels on Wednesday, for now I must sing “gooooDdd MORNING BaaaAALLTIMORE!” to the rats on the street 🐀

📜 Top Three of the week
My first blog on the internet (back in 2014….?) also included a Hollywood Reporter Roundtable (RIP The Printcess Diaries 🪦, it was a VIBE.) These are a TREAT for all theatre kids turned extremely annoying theatre adults. Also watching a grown woman discover what 2 girls 1 cup is is… fascinating.
Diane Keatons Estate sale is live. I simply cannot look at the hat collection without shedding a small tear. Do yourself a favour and take a scroll through her photography book collection.
Being kinda serious on the beach. You guys, we don’t need these fluffy “beach reads” (side bar thats just sexism, no?) but being kind of serious on the beach is a vibe. Contemplating life? Staring at the horizon? Taking a big inhale and then earnestly saying to yourself something you may find at a home goods sign? We’re being serious at the beach. Highly recommend an intense book of essays about motherhood and sorting through the shells dreaming of the small worlds that live in each one. We’re being intense about the beach this summer. 🤝

I really can’t believe I am here writing this. YOU GUYS! I tricked Jacqueline into a Survivor episode! We hear from Jamie from ItsYourFilmSis to discuss Survivor as competition reality TV and a microcosm of human behavior, friend group archetypes, alliances/duos, the jury of life, and how Survivor is a mirror for IT ALL! Plus Phoebe’s moving and doing her nails to avoid her phone. Jacqueline’s belated birthday trip to Florida, and a bop to the theatre!
